Ballpark Snack Season Is Here: Here's our Classic Favorites
Share
Spring baseball and little league season is back, and that means weekends are once again being spent at the field with folding chairs, dirty cleats, and a tote full of candy and snacks that better be able to keep up. If your perfect Saturday involves sitting in the bleachers while your little slugger works on becoming the next baseball legend, you already know the drill.
And of course, no trip to the ball field feels complete without snacks. Sure, concession stands have stepped up their game over the years, but some ballpark favorites will never go out of style. We’re talking about the kinds of snacks that just belong at a baseball or softball game. The ones you can toss in your bag, pass around to other fans in the bleachers, and keep munching on all afternoon.
One of the all-time greats? David Sunflower Seeds. They’ve been a ball field staple forever, and for good reason. They last, they travel well, and they are a baseball legend that always scores a home run.
Pumpkin seeds are another solid pick if that’s more your speed.
But let’s be honest, a good ball game snack lineup should not stop at seeds. Big League Chew is basically a classic at this point.
Add in some beef jerky when you want something savory and is always a hit.
Basically, if you’re putting together your own MVP-level snack lineup for baseball and softball season, we’ve got you covered. No, we do not sell actual hot dogs. But we do have gummy hot dogs and hot dog paper trays, which feels close enough to count in our book.
